Uptown Apartments
“Thanks Nigel. Amazing service and great result. I had the apartment with other agents for several months with no offers. After signing with Nigel it took him 24 hours to get an offer. 5 stars, HIGHLY recommend”

The Uptown Auckland neighbourhood encompasses Grafton, Newton and Eden Terrace, but our coverage and experience extends to Kingsland, Grey Lynn, Freemans Bay and Ponsonby. Uptown is full of character and a thriving community on the edge of the city, with an abundance of apartment developments as well as a host of small businesses. Add to that the proximity of the central city, the other key suburbs and all the motorways, it's a location that's hard to beat.
A B O U T U S
“It’s in the blood” is how Nigel King, Director of Uptown Apartments, describes his relationship to property and more accurately the building industry.
His grandfather was a renowned developer in Yorkshire and there’s numerous streets across the county bearing his ‘Clarkson’ surname. “Most of the immediate family is involved in some capacity and my brother will tell you he’s the best contract’s manager in the UK!”
Nigel originally moved to NZ in 2000, but after various overseas stints he returned with new bride Olga at the end of 2014 to join the Auckland property revolution. He spent 6 very successful years as the top salesperson with Mint Real Estate in Ponsonby before setting up Uptown Apartments to focus primarily on the Uptown area.
"Uptown is full of character and a thriving community on the edge of the city, with an abundance of apartment developments as well as a host of small businesses. Both Olga and I have businesses here and have lived in Uptown for over 5 years. With the CRL link a couple of years away, it's a location much in demand and there's huge development opportunities. Add to that the proximity of the central city, the other key suburbs and all the motorways, it's a location that's hard to beat. We love it here".
